Under the Big Top ...
Under the Big Top ...
Since the soon to be sister-in-law has had such a rough weekend, the Mexican stayed home so we girls could just have a good time with the kids and off to the Cole Bros. Circus we went. You wouldn't believe how many Mexicans work at the circus either!
The Mexican was a lil upset because I was going out with the soon to be sister-in-law two days in a row and told me to drive my car. He knows that we couldn't all fit in my car (my SUV is in the shop) so we all piled into the soon to be sister-in-law's big expidition. The one that had been parked for 3 months and the same one she said (after we were three miles away from my house) may have a family of mice living in it. OMG! I thought I would die all the way there and all the way back, but we still had a good time.
NOTE: I will never ride in her vehicle again though.
Here are just a few pics and if you'd like to see more just click on "Add me on MySpace" to see more pictures, I've uploaded about 25 pics there :)
What's so unique about this picture?? Well the chick is hanging by the hair of her partner's head, seriously. These two twirled around connected only by the hair on their heads. Amazing.
I've often heard that animals at the circus are treated very badly, especially elephants. This pic was kinda bittersweet to me because if you look at it and think just how majestic these creatures are it's sad and beautiful at the same time to see it.
The fog effect, the lights, the white flowing sashes= beautiful. Hanging above an audience under the big top has to be priceless ... I would love to do that!

I tried to place like a red circle around the guy so that he would be more noticeable in the photo ... he was blasted out of the cannon and flew 65 m.p.h. across the way ... too cool.
Out of all the clowns at the circus, Caleb liked this one the best. Could it be because she spoke Spanish?? I don't know but most of the employees at the circus did. Some were from Mexico, Columbia, and Peru. There were others from places like Yugoslavia and the Phillipines I think.
The only thing they didn't have that I would've liked was lions or tigers.
And did I mention the rain??? We were soaked! It rained ALL DAY LONG, which meant that the big top was only somewhat dry inside. The ground was saturated ... thank God I wore my crocs. The Port-A-Pottys were outside beneath the rain filled sky so I had to think twice about making that trip.
Our feet were nasty so I was really glad that I didn't drive my car afterall. LOL.
